I’m thrilled to finally share the news: my brand-new picture book, Why Leroy the Chipmunk Crossed the Road, is now available!
This story has been close to my heart for a while. It started with a simple, silly question we all know—but instead of the usual punchline, I wanted to give kids a real adventure with heart.
Leroy isn’t just any chipmunk. He’s adorable, he’s cheeky, and he’s incredibly brave. When something exciting calls from the other side of a big road, he has to gather every ounce of courage he has. Along the way, he makes wonderful friends, faces his fears, and discovers that the most magical things often come from inside ourselves.
The book is written for children ages 4 to 8 and works beautifully as a read-aloud story or for early readers. The illustrations (in that same bold, playful style as the logo) are full of warmth, humor, and little details that kids love spotting again and again.Themes include:
